Rebecca Valentine

Rebecca Valentine has been part of the insurance industry since 1993, and more than three decades in, she still loves how much it continues to change. She has watched carriers, coverage, and client needs evolve over the years, and she brings that long perspective to MyBrokers as one of the newest members of the team.

For Rebecca, insurance has always come back to a simple idea: looking out for people and making sure they are protected long before they ever need it. That instinct carries well beyond her work. She lives in a remote community in the Cariboo region of British Columbia, home to just nine year-round residents, where she volunteers as a Certified Emergency Medical Responder and Firefighter and serves on the local Emergency Support Services team. Helping her community however she can is something she takes genuine pride in.

At home, she is a mom to two daughters and a stepson, alongside a mischievous cat named Soya Saws. The Cariboo is a haven for the outdoors, and Rebecca makes the most of it, hunting, fishing, and riding her Harley whenever she gets the chance, with an annual trip to Mexico with her best friend a standing tradition. She is especially proud that both of her daughters have followed her path into the insurance industry.
